“A Woman in my Life”
(by: Jenelyn A. Laureta)

She was my educator and my saviour,
A woman who become my first mentor,
Since the day I could walk,
Until the day I learned to Talk.

A woman whom I admire the most for her love and affection,
Attempts new heights to bring me on earth with full of emotions,
She loves me with all her life,
And makes everything just to make sure I’ll be fine.

In every obstacle, she offered me her smile,
And showed me that life is worthwhile,
I owe you my life my generous provider,
She’s a woman in my life no other than my grateful mother.

She’s a gift, that I must be protected,
A precious dove, shouldn’t be persecuted,
A wonderful woman that is like a flower,
Her essence in my life will last forever.
